Love you Drake!

Love you Drake!

Look at this precious face! This is Drake Naylor, my dear friend Trish’s son. Drake was born on August 24, 2005. He has a rare chromosome abnormality which has left him deaf/blind and severally multi-handicapped.

Drake is currently fighting an infection in his intestines called C.Diff and needs lots of prayers right now.

On Fridays {thanks to Melissa at the Inspired Room} I like to reflect on my week and what I’ve learned from it. Right now I can’t even begin to reflect on all my personal challenges and victories. What I’ve learned from being friends with Trish is that there is always some one out there who would love to be in your shoes and would gladly accept the challenges and victories that you got to experience during the week.

My awesome friend and number one supporter Angela has claimed this verse for Drake.

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 1 Peter 5:10

Please remember Trish, Drake and the rest of her family in prayer. The power in linking in prayer is powerful!

Have a beautiful day!

Thank you MJ for this beautiful post. I’ve been down in the dumps lately, thinking about how wrong things are, how its not fair, why me? All those questions we ask ourselves when we are not remembering just want you said …..”there is always some one who would gladly walk in my shoes”. Thank you so much for this touching post, I really needed to read this today. The bible verse is just what I needed as well. God Bless Drake, Trish and the rest of their family. I keep them in my prayers daily. I love to read her blog’s as well, what an insperation and strong person. Please keep us posted on Drake. I will lift him up in prayer!
