What are you wearing to Blissdom?

OK, let’s all admit that whenever we have an event to attend the first question that pops into our heads is….what am I going to wear????? I don’t think we are every going to change, so I’m just going with it.

I’m very blessed to have one of the bestest {I know that is not a real word!} friends who is my same size!!! I frequently shop her closet. So, when I signed up for Blissdom I was not as stressed about what to wear because I have dear BB to rescue me!

Here is what Harry Connick, Jr will be seeing me in on Friday night, oh yes and everyone else. I’ve eyeballed this dress in her closet, wondering when I would have somewhere to wear it!

Now, one difference between BB and I is our chest sizes. I’m a little bigger {ok a lot bigger} and so it is just a tad too tight on the top. Life to the T will be helping with the zipper! Anyway, I so desired a little tiny cream sweater to wear on top. So, where is one to find one of those? BB had already searched all over e-bay, etc. for one over the last few months.

On my way out on friday night, in the snow, to Target I decided to stop by Uptown Cheapskate {a resale shop in Greensboro}, you know just in case…whatever….but check this out…..there it was waiting for me…

a little cream sweater that tied in the front? could it be? But look at the ugly beading!  I purchased this for $6.99 {well actually it was free because I had sold a few things in there awhile back and still had a credit}

5 minutes later

and 5 minutes and a pair of scissors later I had the perfect little sweater topper! Yeah!

So, one outfit down….
