My Snowy House

My Snowy House

We are bracing for a little snow here in NC. The schools have already declared it an early release day too! Melissa at The Inspired Room {whom I am sooo excited to meet at Blissdom next week} is talking about winterbliss over on her blog today. It got me thinking about my winterbliss weekend I might have ahead of me.

There is something enjoyable about having to be “forced” to stay home all weekend. I have visions in my head of what I’d like to do this weekend. I’m all caught up on laundry so when the added wet and muddy clothes come in the door I’ll be ready to tackle those right away! Yeah!

What I Will Be Doing…hopefully

Making a bunch of cookie dough for a beloved customer I just could not say no too. Yes, I am in semi retirement from making my cookie dough. I’ve even closed my Foodzie store. Unless you are deep in my inner circle of extreme love, it just is not happening.

I will also be making tons of healthy snacks for the Blissdom road trip! I HATE fast food so I always take my own. Besides, Trish and I are really doing a great job in our Seek Fit Club and we don’t want to undo our progress too much. I’m sure we will partake in some fabulous food in Nashville!

I will be trying to figure out what to wear at Blissdom. I’ll probably just pack it all. Can you just imagine how much stuff me and Life to the T will have in my van??? How much leopard between the two of us will be in there too??? The beauty of driving, you can take as much stuff as you want and not have to pay extra for it!

Our Little Fluffy Puppy

Our Little Fluffy Puppy

I will be trying to mentally prepare Asher that his mommy will be leaving for 5 days! Oh my! Yes, my kids will be in a state of shock too. I have not been away from them in awhile. But, no stress in leaving because my man is pretty fabulous in holding down the fort! Besides, I’m just coming off a week by myself and I so deserve a break!!!

I will be coloring my hair, shaving my legs and painting my toenails. I will be telling myself to have no fears next week. I’m blessed to have the opportunity to go to Blissdom. I’m thankful for a supportive family who will keep things running smoothly. I’m going to embrace and enjoy and just be myself!

I will be updating my Arm Project page I’ve set up to document my arms makeover project. I do want to add that I am not trying to lose weight. I do agree with your comments that Kelly Ripa is very thin. I do not aspire to be that thin. I’m just after some super sculpted arms! I’ve been working them this week in addition to the awesome Fit Club workouts! I’m loving our group and the hard work everyone is putting into it!

Enjoy yourself some winterbliss too this weekend….even if you live where it is warm!

Hip hip hooray! I am completely excited for next week….can’t wait to meet you!!!! I’m going to run around hugging everyone because, WE CAN! HA!

PS. I LLLLLOOOOVEEE your fluffy puppy! And I wish we had snow! We got our random winter blast last year and I guess that was enough for a few centuries.

Man… Melissa’s comment above is putting me through the same thing I went through last year… I can’t believe we’re missing Blissdom again.

But that’s not what I wanted to say. What I wanted to say what that your house looks totally gorgeous! I may not have ever even used that term for a house before, but that photo warrants it!

Have a great week!

Tim
