My Legs are Furry!

Did you really think I would show a picture of my furry legs! I’ll spare you that one! I’m wondering if I am the only one who is lost in the busyness of decorating, shopping, and for me the baking of many, many cookies. Surely I am not alone.

The first thing that gets neglected in Jeans and “comfy pant’s” {I hate the word sweat pants!) weather is the upkeep of the leg hair. As flip flop weather comes along, the pedicure gets neglected too. Am I too the only one with a chipped remnant of the last pedi? I will admit to that I have been on an every other day shower routine too! It feels freeing to get this information out to you. I am however wearing socks right now so that I don’t have to look at those toenails.

Do I have plans to remedy this “situation” any time soon? Not so sure. At this point I am winging each moment of my life. In fact, I have no business to be even spending this time writing this. I’ve overbooked my day tomorrow and am now in the process of deciding what to cut. Maybe I will just let my new iPhone do that for me. It is suppose to do everything for me right? I’m sure there is an APP for my state. Maybe it will “fire the laser” and wipe the hair clean off my legs.

I’m laughing that I”m writing this “conversation with myself” post like the whole world is reading and going to let me know what they think! So, the 5 or so of you that read…tell me do you have hairy legs today? Do you care?

One more thing? If I shave my legs tomorrow does that count for a Do It Yourself project on A Soft Place to Land? Kimba says she is pretty liberal on what counts!

Not only are my legs not shaved… I don’t care. Didn’t even remember I hadn’t done such till I had an itch this afternoon and found myself inthralled in the jungle of neglect… UGH Charlie Brown!!!
If there is a woman out there that has the legs shaved, nails painted, showered everyday, presents bought & wrapped, kids fed and FB status updated… then they have REAL issues or are in denial of what it really means to be a Mom/Woman. (or am I just kidding myself?) He,he,he!!!
Love you TONS!

I am not even a mother of any children. I have been done christmas shopping since October. And I am about to be on an 18 day vacation from work. Still, the last thing on my list is shaving my legs.

** I have never even had a pedicure (wha???)

Shaving your legs in the winter is for the birds!

LOL.

{slips out the door before anyone notices she cut her OWN HAIR yesterday…desperate times call for emergency measures, like skipping shaving ones legs in favor of spending the time hacking away at ones head of hair.., there are only so many hours in the day. just sayin’}
