Today, my “other job” Seek the Triad is featuring the store I can’t stop talking about, Total Bliss. One lucky winner will be winning a $40 gift certificate to shop there! So, get yourself over to SEEK and check it out!
I was totally inspired to decorate this year by this fabulous bow I bought for my tree topper! It completely set the stage for all my holiday decor! I need a new look and a new feel to the same old tree. I keep saying I’m going back to a real tree. I really am missing it. Those pre-lit trees are fab until the lights stop working on them. I did not even try to figure out why the would not work this year, I just plopped a few more strands on top and went with it!
The Total Bliss Tree
Nancy also made me long garlands out of the fabulous ribbons in the bow. I weaved them in and out of the branches and then accented the rest of my tree with simple brown, green and white balls.
of course I've got nuts on my tree!
How about these fabulous glass nuts? {Total Bliss of course!} The nut needs to have some nuts on her tree! I’m itching for a few more!
all tree skirts need a dog!
What is a girl to do when her old tree skirt does not match her new decor? I desperately wanted the animal print one from Ballard Designs for a mere $129…ouch! I simply could not justify that this year on top of my other purchases. So, I took my $12.99 fur throw off my couch and suddenly had myself a new tree skirt! Asher is quite pleased with it.
Check out some more holiday decorating on my wreath post!
Is is really Friday again? Time to link up to The Inspired Room! Thanks Melissa for keeping us inspired to love our home and ENJOY them!

Your tree is beautiful. I am loving the brown and green! The ribbon top is a great idea too.
I love those pops of green on your tree. I spent all week looking for green ornaments and ribbons and no such luck. Guess I was TOO late to find what I was looking for!
It really looks lovely around your home!
Merry Christmas!
Love the tree skirt. I never find a tree skirt that I like, so I just use fabric. That way if the dog gets in (he comes in some times, but he’s big & hairy) and pees on the tree (it’s the only place he does it), no big loss!
