Joy, Peace and Love!

I did a little holiday makeover on some books to set on an antique desk I had to relocate when the Christmas tree went up. It is super easy!

I went into the “literary vault” aka under my bed. I dug through several years of Southern Living magazines and dug out some hardback books and took off the covers. We had a break in bad weather in NC so I could finally get outside and do some spray painting. I sprayed 2 layers of white on the books….probably could have used 3, but I was being lazy.

tis the season!

I was going to write on the spines with a paint pen, but I was scared of my handwriting, so I used press on stickers instead. I affixed some holiday words and tied up the books with a ribbon. How super simple I must say.
