I’m coming to you live from my week long vacation in the Outer Banks of North Carolina! This is one of my favorite places of all time. I’ve been coming here off and on since High School. When we made Greensboro, NC our permanent, long term residence 7 years ago we began coming here each year for Labor Day week. The kids are now in kindergarten and 2nd grade and we just can’t seem to let this precious week go. We’ve agreed one more year to let the kids miss school and have our treasured week together.

Where am I you say? Taking a few pictures….but mostly parked myself in a chair from 10:00 AM until 5:00PM…I read almost an entire book! Yeah for my relaxing day!

Tomorrow I’ll give you inside tour of this amazing house we stay at!

MJ,

I moved to Winston-Salem last summer from Ohio. Do you have a recommendation on places to stay at the Outer Banks? I loved the photo of the home on your blog.

I bought a 16 year old home that needs a face lift. I spend most of my time working on my home and taxiing my 4 children around town. I would love to start a blog sometime. Yours is very inspiring.

Thanks!
