Oh my goodness another week as flown by! Welcome again to my Be Still Mondays Linky Day. {read my original post on the topic}

Last week I totally enjoyed writing a belated Happy Birthday post to my hubby, who does not read my blog. {Does Your Husband Read Your Blog} It was such a great feeling to express my appreciation to him through my love of blogging. It got me thinking about how much our forms of communication have changed over the years. Even though our styles of communication have changed, it is still important for our significant others to know they are loved and appreciated.
It is here that I introduce you to someone who has some beautiful words on this very topic. Meet Mary Joy from Seeds of Encouragement Sewn in Grace. {She is a MJ, just like me!} Mary Joy is a very talented writer, and a wonderful encourager. I’m so blessed I have met her. {I met her through this Linky Party!}

Mary Joy has started an “Intentional Encourager Challenge“, based on Hebrews 10:24. I love MJ’s words on being Encouragers to our own husbands…
“God intends for us to love our hubby as we love Him…not to take our husbands for granted. God calls us to be an encourager to our husbands, to help them in their lives not to “be quarrelsome”. There are SO many places in Scripture that talk about being a good help-meet to our husbands and loving and respecting our husbands…”
Mary Joy has so much more to say and encourage you with….you must go straight to her blog when you are done here!
Also, check out this blog that is all about love letters called Love Letters Central
I’d love for you to link up today. There are several choices for linking or commenting:
1. Link your “Love Letter” to someone special that you wrote on your own blog here on ONG
2. Link any blog post about Being Still, or anything else you feel led to share
3. Comment here about your thoughts on writing love letters.
If you could be so kind to mention One Nutty Girl somewhere in your post or blog or even grab one of my buttons!

Next week I will highlight one of you special linkers on Be Still Mondays.
Does anyone still take the time to handwrite love letters? Is it a lost art? Do we have time to pine for each other like we used to, or do we just text it as soon as we think it?
