It is Sweet Shot Tuesday over at Life With My 3 Boybarians. I thought I’d share some Sweet Shot’s of my Shih-Poo’s. So, what is a Shih-Poo? I feel rather snobby when I even say the word Shih-Poo. It is a mixed breed of dog. A Shih Tzu bred with a poodle. I got my first Shih-Poo Asher last October. He will be one years old on Friday, July 9th! He has been a bit lonely so we got him a sister about 2 weeks ago. She will be one at the end of the month…like you really care, but thought I’d tell you they are the same age.
Meet this precious baby with a wicked underbite. She has a train wreck of a mouth! Asher has a slight underbite, but at least his lips can cover it. No amount of lips are covering these teeth up. She came to us as a “Laddie”. It is just not working for us. We call her “Lanie “or “Lanie Lou” or “Mrs. Teeth” or “Mrs. Fuggles”, since Asher is Mr. Fuggles. We have Fuggles. The Fuggle Family.

Can you lick your nose?
I’ve never been a dog person. Always made fun of crazy dog people. People who talk to their dogs like kids, dress them up, kiss them on the lips, sleep with them in their beds. I only have one word….Guilty.
Am I a crazy dog lady? Have I become the one I used to make fun of? So embarrassing I must say. Anyone else want to out themselves?

No, You are not a crazy dog lady – you just love your dog. If the whole world would be like you we would not have abused animals. Thank you for loving dogs.

I have 4 Lhasa’s, mom, dad & 2 of their babies; we have been Lhasa people for 20+ years. DH & I are never bored, lonely or unamused. I am always grateful to the people who brought this lovely breed from Tibet to the U.S. They will be your biggest supporters, companions and love objects for the rest of their lives–total devotion on foot.

oh my gosh. i am SOOO a crazy dog lady! i love my dog. he is the BEST. and like you i have a snobby “designer” dog
he is called a shorkie (shih tzu/yorkie). and he also has an underbite… but nothing quite like your little guy! how adorable!!
