Official Food, Inc. Movie Site – Hungry For Change?

I had the priviledge of seeing the movie Food, Inc today. I am blown away! It was so eye opening!! I highly suggest that everyone see this! We have the power change what we eat and demand that our food sources change as well.

Please take just a few minutes to watch the trailer. I’d love to hear anyones thoughts on this topic. It is something that I am so passionate about.

For all you Greensboro followers I am sorry to say that this movie is not playing in town. I saw the movie in Asheville, NC. It is also playing in the Raleigh area (at the Cary theater) and in Charlotte.

Also, the book that goes along with the movie is at Earth Fare. I will be purchasing that as well.

God did not give us our animals to abuse and treat this way. It saddens me that we are so money hungry that we would destroy so many of the blessing He has bestowed on us.

Great thought provoking post.I know if I read the book or hopefully see the movie, I'd be in shock & angry. I know it's tough to blame the farmers who are trying to eek out a living. It's all about supply, demand & greed. So many things are wrong with our country right now, it just seems overwhelming. Thank goodness for those that bring these issues to light so we can all take action. I saw something very much like on a BBC show about how animals are being pumped with various feed & chemicals, etc. that make them fat & then they can be slaughtered faster. Really frightening. I will be looking out for the movie or purchasing the book. Thanks for making me aware!!
