Do It Yourself Day

I’m getting in on the action at A Soft Place to Land today with DIY Day!  I just finished these for my current project I have going on.  I’m not ready to reveal my entire room yet, but wanted to share a sneak peak of these and the new wall color behind them.  I am redoing my laundry room.
I wanted some artwork that would not set me back.  I scored these frames at Michael’s for $4.99 each.  They were a little banged up so I just hit them with a quick coat of black spray paint.  I had picked up the wooden fleur-de-lis for .79 each and spray painted them as well.
I cut out some black damask scrapbook paper and hot glued the fleur-de-lis onto the center.  A few minutes later I had 2 custom made pictures!  Do you like the tile?  That will be hopefully going down on the floor soon!

Stay tuned for the final reveal of the room soon!!

Love your little custom made pictures! I have so many frames around- I will have to try my hand at this!

Am Trying to figure out how to get my DIY projects done while being confined to the bum for another 10 days as per Dr. orders- gosh I have already lost 12 days of nesting what more do they want!!

LOVE IT! I have a bunch of chunky gold fleur de lis from Hobby Lobby's after- Christmas clearance. Haven't known yet what to do with them. Now I know. Thanks for sharing!

Lovely! I love this easy project and I need some things like this for an area that needs some filling. Did you leave the glass in the frame or take it out?
