Inspired by Turquoise!

in nuts for all things blue

In case you can’t figure out my kindergardener’s words “Trcqus” is Turquoise! Since my home projects are on hold right now until we get our verdict on my husband’s job, I have been having to live vicariously {and quite jealously} through Blog Land. I am blissfully in love with all shades of turquoise, dark, light, bright and soft! They all speak to me right now!

Here are a few of my favorite’s I found this week….

My dream door!

My dream door!

How about this awesome turquoisey blue front door? I found it trolling Realtor.com. I’d love to have some sort of wonderful blue shade for my front door.

oh la la!

Here you can take in the fab front door on the entire house. There are 20 more pictures of this home here on Realtor.com. Only a mere million located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria….one of my favorite places.

My Dream Kitchen!

My Dream Kitchen!

I would say that this kitchen is a total inspiration as to how I would decorate a kitchen.  I love the contrast of the white cabinets against the fabulous blue in the island.  Oh how I would love a big fat island!  The kitchen is my favorite room in the house. When I got sick of the color blue {we will be fickle one day and turn on our beloved turquoise} I would just paint it another in style fab color.

Loving these painted chairs!

Loving these painted chairs!

Another example of the blue and white contrast I’m loving!  Very tempting to paint the back of some shelves I must say.  Painting my dining room furniture has also been on my list.  I love the way the chairs are a different color from the table.

For now I will be happy with the blue project’s I have completed, like my shabby chic table from this post.

Have a fabulous weekend! Come back on Monday for my Be Still Monday Linky Party!

This house is gorgeous. I love that kitchen, too. The collection of white china against the blue wall is dreamy. Oh and that island!

I, too, am a little in love with this color. I married last summer and it was the color the bridesmaids wore…cotton dresses with french knots and ruffles. They were pretty…
I love the front door painted turquoise and the use of orange with blue in that kitchen!

Thanks for another informative blog. Where else could I get that kind of info written in such an ideal way? I’ve a project that I’m just now working on, and I have been on the look out for such information.
