Hello my dear sweet friends. I am so blessed that you are taking a few minutes to spend on One Nutty Girl! No one loves her time online more than this girl. I have embraced blogging, new friendships, and so much more through all of your wonderful comments and visiting so many of you in the places you call home. I love how this “Land” rises up and supports each other and brings encouragement through all different things we face in life.
I believe that there is an enormous amount of positive attributes about this environment we are in. It is here to stay and I embrace it fully. However, I do find myself struggling with keeping myself accountable for my time spent online, which includes checking my iPhone {which I have nicknamed the iCrack} multiples times an hour for the latest e-mails {4 accounts!} and FaceBook {3 accounts!} updates and Twitter Tweets {2 accounts!}.
I’ve wanted to start my own Linky Day for quite some time. I’ve really struggled with what I wanted to accomplish through it and how it could be something that is positive and meaningful to myself and others. Then I heard a voice and it said….

Yeah, the girl who would not attend the balancing session at Blissdom because she did not want to hear from anyone that she was online too much. If you don’t say it out load then it is not true right?
So, what does this all mean? I am inviting each one of you to think about one way during the week that you want to “Be Still”. It might be for an entire day, or it might just be for 30 minutes. It might be that you just sit down with your child and read with them, or it might mean that you dedicate and entire 24 hour period to not being online…wow! It might be different each week. You might even fail at it, but that is OK.
I’d like each on of you to come back to ONG on Mondays and link up and tell us something about that time. You can talk about your successes and failures. Something that you learned about yourself or others through that time. A project that you got done instead of being on line, etc. Maybe you do not struggle with this and you just want to encourage those of us that do. No rules apply to what you can write about. Yes, even if you used that time just to get jiggy with it {without planning a blog post or mentally rearranging your bedroom furniture while doing so…come on we are all guilty!} you can tell us, lets just maybe use a code word, like “Pineapple”.
Be Still Monday’s will start on April 12th!
1. Come to ONG on Mondays, beginning on April 12th, and link to your blog post where you have written about your Be Still Moments.
2. If you don’t have a blog, you can write about your time in my comment section.
I will eat up every word you share and then I will choose one comment or blog link to feature the following week on Be Still Mondays. If you have a button I will also put up your button as the featured blogger of the week!
Grab the button and encourage others to Be Still with you!
Today’s feature blogger is the original blog guru herself Darcy from Graphically Designing. Visit her over on her blog My 3 Boybarians. She shares some good thoughts on balance and being still! She also has a special button you can get to pray for Emma…she needs your prayers!

What a great idea! We’re all looking for balance and it is hard to find a moment to just be still! You’ve got me thinking…..
